Local History Articles Submitted to Stretton Focus

Local History articles can quite often be found in the Stretton Focus, the local community magazine which is published monthly. An archive of previous issues going back to 2002 can be found here.

A number of articles were written by group member Dr David Haigh during the 2020 / 2021 lockdowns, when the Local History Group could no longer hold its regular programme of talks. These he managed to research despite the confines of lockdown, including no access to the Shropshire Archives collection of source material.
